Like regular playing cards Tarot has suits. If you don't have your own tarot deck, you can use regular playing cards instead. The correspondences are as follows:

Wands - Diamonds
Cups - Hearts
Swords - Clubs
Spades - Pentacles

Known as the "Lesser Mysteries", within each suit there are ten pip cards representing the ten sephiroth of the Tree of Life. The four suits correspond to the four letters in the Divine Name; Yod Heh Vav Heh, to the four elements of the alchemist, and to the four Qabalistic Worlds:
